Teresa Liu is a solicitor and registered migration agent working under Fragomen Global LLP. She co-manages the company’s Australia-New Zealand practice.
Since 1998, Liu has solely practiced immigration law. She has advised some of the largest multinational corporations in the world. She has also served major Australian corporations, small- and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups and individual clients. She has experience working with clients in several industry sectors. She is well-experienced in planning immigration routes for companies seeking to establish new business in Australia. By doing so, Liu works to ensure speed to market while remaining in compliance with immigration law.
Liu frequently contributes and presents at professional development sessions such as Legalwise, which cater to immigration advisors, attorneys, and other professionals. Further, Liu is a frequent author of various pieces on immigration matters. She has written for LexisNexis Practical Guidance Immigration Law Module, an online publication geared toward registered migration agents and immigration lawyers.
Liu earned all her degrees at the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. In 1995, she earned both her Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws degrees. The following year, completed her Legal Practice Course. In addition to being a registered migration agent and solicitor, Liu is a member of a wide variety of professional organizations including the Migration Institute of Australia, the Law Society of New South Wales, the Australian Human Resources Institute, AmCham’s Women in Leadership Committee, among many others.
